PENGARUH KECERDASAN SPIRITUAL TERHADAP KESADARAN DIRI SANTRI DI PESANTREN KAMPUS AINUL YAQIN UNIVERSITAS ISLAM MALANG

Abstract


The current social reality, juvenile delinquency often occurs among students, this indicates low self-awareness. Many teenagers have difficulty understanding themselves so that they lack responsibility for their actions. In fact, self-awareness is important in decision making, emotional management, and the formation of character. Various studies have shown that spiritual intelligence plays an important role in the formation of self-awareness. This study aims to determine the effect of spiritual intelligence on santri self-awareness at Pesantren Kampus Ainul Yaqin, Islamic University of Malang. The study used a quantitative approach with a questionnaire instrument. The sample amounted to 123 of the total population of 190 students, who were taken using simple random sampling technique. The results showed that the level of spiritual intelligence and self-awareness of students was in the good or high category. In the collerasonal test obtained a Pearson Correlation value of 0.644, which can be concluded that there is a significant influence between spiritual intelligence and self-awareness of students at Pesantren Kampus Ainul Yaqin Islamic University of Malang.
