IMPLEMENTASI PROGRAM SMART AL-QUR'AN DALAM MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA AL-QUR’AN PESERTA DIDIK DI SEKOLAH MENENGAH PERTAMA BRAWIJAYA SMART SCHOOL MALANG

Abstract

The Koran is the holy book in the Islamic religion which is a guide to life for Muslims. Understanding and reading the Qur'an correctly is very important, because mistakes can change the meaning and message. Therefore, education in reading the Koran with correct memorization must be taught from an early age. However, many students experience difficulties in studying the Koran due to a lack of in-depth learning at home and in the environment. This research uses qualitative methods with case studies. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation to find relevant data. The results of the research show: 1) planning for the implementation of the Al-Qur'an Smart Program at Brawijaya Smart School Malang Middle School using the Ummi method is effective in teaching recitation and reading the Al-Qur'an correctly. This program is designed to improve students' ability to read the Al-Qur'an regularly and easily to understand. 2) Implementation Process: The Al-Qur'an Smart Program is implemented through structured steps starting from planning, implementation, to evaluation. The teachers involved have been specially trained to apply the Ummi method well, and learning is carried out intensively and continuously. 3) Program Implications: The Smart Al-Qur'an Program has a positive impact on students' ability to read the Al-Qur'an. Many students showed improvements in comprehension and reading fluency, as well as an increase in the number of students memorizing short letters.
