STRATEGI GURU MATA PELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DALAM MEMBENTUK KEDISIPLINAN SISWA KELAS VII DI SMPN 5 KARANGPLO

Abstract


Discipline means obeying school rules in terms of behavior and neatness. This character needs to be instilled in every student so that they control their behavior and obey existing rules. This research aims to determine the strategic planning of teachers of Islamic religious education subjects in forming discipline for class VII students at SMPN 5 Karangploso, the implementation of strategies for teachers of Islamic religious education subjects in forming discipline for class VII students at SMPN 5 Karangploso, evaluating the strategies of teachers of religious education subjects Islam in shaping the discipline of class VII students at SMPN 5 Karangploso. To achieve the research objectives regarding teacher strategies in forming discipline in class VII students, a qualitative approach was used. Qualitative research is research that intends to understand the phenomena experienced by research subjects, for example regarding behavior, perceptions, motivation for action, etc. holistically and by means of description. The primary data sources taken were PAI teachers, head of student affairs, and class VII students. The data collection techniques used in this research are interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the Miles and Hubberman qualitative data analysis technique. This research resulted in PAI teachers planning to shape student discipline, namely by preparing student lesson plans, maximizing class attendance, religious activities and conveying rules of conduct to students. The PAI teacher's strategy process is by observing students' time, neatness and equipment. Make an agreement with students, set an example, remind and give sanctions to students who violate. Also evaluate the PAI teacher strategy program whether it is running as planned, change it if it is not running smoothly and give rewards or prizes to students.
