STRATEGI GURU SEJARAH KEBUDAYAAN ISLAM DALAM MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA DI MTS DARUN NAJAH KARANGPLOSO
Abstract
The instructor employs a plan with a series of activities as her teaching strategy when discussing the history of Islamic culture. The teacher's strategy in this case is to plan a continuous learning process that consists of a variety of activities meant to achieve educational goals, and it has major meaning and purpose. A person's need to engage in an activity with a certain objective develops over time, either consciously or instinctively. Motivation here means an encouragement of motives in a person which with this motivation will lead him to be active and feel the need to learn so that the teaching and learning process becomes optimal. In this study, qualitative research was employed. This study will be carried out because researchers want to understand more about the phenomena that subjects experience or the strategies used by MTs Darun Najah Karangploso's Islamic Cultural History instructors to inspire their pupils to learn. This sort of investigation is carried out in the field using both primary and secondary data sources. Interviews, observation, and documentation are methods for acquiring research data. Applying data analysis methodology involves four processes: data collection, representation or presentation of data, conclusion-making, and data verification or conclusion-making. To confirm the precision of data triangulation, the methods of source triangulation, time triangulation, and method triangulation can be applied. The results of research on teacher strategies in increasing student learning motivation in Islamic religious education subjects at MTS Darun Najah Karangploso carry out planning before starting new learning by combining lesson plans, teaching materials/materials, rewards and fun learning. The Islamic Cultural History teacher evaluates students at the end of the lesson, such as checking the strengths and weaknesses of the learning model, repeating assessments and punishments.
