PEMIKIRAN PENDIDIKAN ISLAM PERSPEKTIF KH HASYIM ASY’ARI DALAM KITAB ADAB AL-ALIM WA AL-MUTA’ALLIM

Abstract

Hasyim Asy`ari, a prominent cleric and national hero, had an important role in Islamic education in Indonesia through the establishment of the Tebuireng pesantren and madrasah diniyah. Moral education is also the focus, where both students and teachers need to have good morals in the teaching-learning process. Hashim Asy'ari has an educational concept that focuses on ethical issues in seeking and disseminating knowledge with the aim of seeking the pleasure of Allah. His book ‘‘Adab Al Alim Wa Al Muta'alim‘‘ discusses ethics in education, both the morals of students towards teachers and vice versa. Hashim Asy'ari in the book Adab Al Alim Wa Al Muta'allim and how to contextualize it in the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0. The purpose of this study is to describe how the concept and thought of Islamic Education perspective KH Hasyim Asy'ari in the book Adab Al Alim Wa Al Muta'allim and contextualize it in the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0. Literature research is the process of finding and collecting data by reading, analyzing, understanding, and studying books or writings from various sources such as journals, papers, documents, or data from the internet that can be used as reference sources, can also use books as objects of study, because written works in books are also the result of relevant thoughts in the study. From the findings of the study, the thoughts and concepts of Islamic education in the book ‘‘Adab Al Alim Wa Al Muta'alim‘‘ by KH. Hashim Asy'ari can be summed up as follows: Teachers and students must have a standard nature so that the concept of moral education can be channeled properly. Students and teachers must have a noble moral personality. The thoughts and concepts of Islamic education KH. Hashim Asy'ari emphasized the importance of morals and ethics in education, the integration of technology in the learning process, and the formation of good character in teachers and students involved in education.
