PENGARUH MODEL DISCOVERY LEARNING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PAI DAN BUDI PEKERTI SISWA KELAS VIII DI SMPN 13 MALANG

Abstract


Islamic religious education is a consistent subject at all levels of education. Therefore, variation should be included during the learning process. For this reason, researchers investigated the impact of discovery learning on student learning outcomes. A quasi-experimental post-test control group design was used as the approach of this study. This design includes only posttests. The experimental group implemented a discovery learning model, whereas the control group did not use a discovery learning model. A post-test was then administered to assess the learning outcomes of the students. SMP Negeri 13 Malang Class VIII students formed the population and sample for this study. The results show that the discovery learning model influences the learning outcomes of halal and haram food and drink subtopics. This can be observed from the difference in mean student learning outcomes between the two groups. Both control groups achieved a mean score of 77.27 and the experimental group achieved a mean group score of 92.12. The t-test results yielded a significance value of 0.00 < 0.05, indicating that students who used the discovery approach to learning achieved significantly different learning outcomes. .
