This research aims to find out the utilization of Google classroom on Islamic Religious Education learning at SMAN 2 Malang. Google classroom is an online-based learning application that is used to facilitate the tasks of teachers as well as students. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The data sources used in this research are observation, interview, documentation. The results of the utilization of Google classroom at SMAN 2 Malang are utilized by teachers and students. The utilization of Google classroom is used by teachers to share materials, a place to collect test and remedial assignments, and as a substitute for teaching when the teacher is absent, while students use the application to download materials that have been shared by the teacher and also collect some assignments. The disadvantage of this application is that when the network quality is not stable, the use is not optimal and the capacity of the smartphone also affects it.Based on the results of the study, it is recommended for further research to examine more deeply the utilization of Google classroom.
