IMPLEMENTASI KURIKULUM MERDEKA PADA MATA PELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DAN BUDI PEKERTI DI KELAS VII SMP NEGERI 9 KOTA MALANG

Abstract

Student character skills are developed through learning about Islam through religious education based on an independent curriculum. Thus, the objectives of this study are to: (1) Examine Independent Curriculum Planning in Class VII Islamic Religious Education Subjects of SMP Negeri 9 Malang City; (2) Examine Independent Curriculum Implementation in Class VII Islamic Religious Education Subjects of SMP Negeri 9 Malang City; (3) and Examine Independent Curriculum Implementation Results in Class VII Islamic Religious Education Subjects of SMP Negeri 9 Malang City. This study employs a case study design and a qualitative research methodology. The methods used to collect the data were observation, interviews, and documentation. strategies for data analysis, data condensing, data presenting, and data validation. The study's findings demonstrate that (1) in planning the Independent Curriculum in Islam Religi Education Subjects, the school forms a team of PAI teachers. and the PAI Teacher Team compiled an educational calendar, Prota, Promissory Notes and Teaching Modules, based on the schol curiculum and the curriculum of the Education Agency and the Ministry of Religion-PAIS. (2) In implementing the independent curriculum of SMP Negeri 9 Malang City in PAI subjects, namely, teacher in classroom learn emphasize the importanc of material goals, independen and aplication in daily life. (3) The result of implementing the independent curriculum in SMP  9 Malang City Grade VII is the growth of student leadership, student independence, student cooperation and student activity in the classroom.
