Abstract

At this time the function of the mosque is not only as a place of worship, but the
mosque is also used as a place to carry out various religious activities. From here, the role of the mosque takmir is very important in the management system to manage and prosper the mosque in Jami' Al-Huda, Gonis Press Sekadau village, West Kalimantan. To achieve these objectives the researchers used qualitative methods. By collecting data using the method of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study are that the mosque takmir has a very important role in religious development, the form of religious activities goes well and the benefits of the program run by the mosque takmir can be felt by the community.
