ANALISIS POLA KONSUMSI PANGAN KEDELAI PADA RUMAH TANGGA DI JAWA TIMUR
Abstract
Soybean food is one of the important sources of plant food, especially as a source of protein. Adequate protein consumption will determine the level of health and welfare of the household. The level of household welfare can be measured by the size of income. In East Java province, the percentage of food expenditure is greater than non-food expenditure. The purpose of this study was to determine the pattern of vegetable protein food consumption in East Java Province. The study was conducted in East Java Province with research data using secondary data obtained from SUSENAS in 2022 with a sample of 32,454 households. The research data is in the form of household consumption and expenditure data on plant foods, namely soybeans, and household socio-economic data in the form of income and number of household members. The data analysis method uses Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The results of the study show that East Java household consumption of vegetable protein food sources, especially soybeans, is still high. Data for the last 5 years, namely 2018-2022, shows that soybean consumption is increasing every year. Based on Susenas 2022 data, consumption of vegetable protein sources is the second highest after rice consumption with a consumption of 23.46%.
