Abstract


ABSTRACT

Utilization of livestock waste to be biogas is an effort to produce renewable energy sources that are profitable for farmers and communities around livestock. This study aims to analyze the non-financial feasibility by examining aspects of the market, technical, management of environmental and financial funds from the business of utilizing cattle waste to be biogas in Tatae village, Duampanua district, Pinrang regency. Through direct interviews with members of the livestock farmer groups that managed biogas installations, the information was obtained that if the business of utilizing cattle waste to be biogas in this region could be continued and developed, considering that farmers really felt the benefits, including using biogas as an alternative energy that was environmentally friendly and very affordable.
