Abstract

Picking dragon fruit is increasing public interest in tourism. Tourism is that which utilizes the natural and cultural potential of agriculture. Dragon fruit picking tourism is one type of tourism that is currently popular in Indonesia. Dragon fruit picking offers tourists a hands-on experience of picking dragon fruit directly from the tree. Visitors can experience the sensation of picking their own dragon fruit and feel its freshness. Apart from that, visitors can also learn about how to plant and care for dragon fruit plants. This research aims to analyze the factors that influence tourist consumer responses to dragon fruit picking tourism. The research method used was by distributing questionnaires to 126 respondents visiting dragon fruit picking tours. Sampling used accidental sampling technique. The research results show that the hospitality and income variables have a statistically significant relationship with tourist responses, both directly and indirectly through the mediating variable Attraction 3 (Z). The variables access, facilities, infrastructure and location do not have a statistically significant relationship. with tourist responses, both directly and indirectly through the mediating variable Attraction 3 (Z).
