ANALISIS PUISI ANAK KELAS IV SDI NURUL JADID DALAM PERSPEKTIF PSIKOLOGI SASTRA

Abstract

This study aims to describe the representations of the id, ego, and superego found in poems written by fourth-grade students at SDI Nurul Jadid. This study employed a qualitative approach with a content analysis research design. The data sources consisted of 10 poems written by eleven fourth-grade students at SDI Nurul Jadid. The research data included stanzas and lines that represented personality structures based on Sigmund Freud’s psychoanalytic theory. Data were collected through documentation and interviews. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of unitizing, sampling, recording/coding, reducing, inferring, and narrating. The results show that all three of Freud’s personality structures were found in the students’ poems. The id aspect was the most dominant, as reflected in expressions of affection, pleasure, admiration, desire, enthusiasm, and satisfaction. The ego aspect was manifested through awareness of reality, processes, efforts, obstacles, and actions taken to achieve goals. Meanwhile, the superego aspect was represented through moral values, responsibility, concern, appreciation, and awareness of good and bad behavior. Of the 10 poems analyzed, eight were dominated by the id, while two were dominated by the ego. The superego was also found in several poems, although its dominance was not particularly strong. Thus, the poems written by fourth-grade students at SDI Nurul Jadid can represent children’s psychological conditions through expressions of feelings, desires, experiences, and moral values.
