Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model in Pancasila Education learning for fifth-grade students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nahdlatul Ulama Maudlu'ul Ulum. The study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the principal, fifth-grade teacher, and students as research participants. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, including data collection, data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation and technique triangulation. The findings indicate that the implementation of Project Based Learning consists of three stages: planning, implementation, and learning outcomes. The planning stage includes preparing teaching modules, project-based worksheets, learning media, and assessment instruments. The implementation stage involves project introduction, group formation, project completion, teacher facilitation, presentation, and reflection. The results show that PjBL positively impacts students' understanding of Pancasila Education concepts, collaboration skills, responsibility, discipline, creativity, communication skills, and self-confidence. Therefore, Project Based Learning is considered an effective learning model for creating meaningful and student-centered learning experiences.
