PENERAPAN MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA PADA SISWA KELAS 1 SD BRAWIJAYA SMART SCHOOL MALANG

Abstract


Teachers need to use various techniques and methods to improve the learning process in order to achieve maximum learning goals. Additionally, students need to take an active role in learning. The aim of this research is to describe the application of the Problem

Based Learning model to improve the learning outcomes of grade 1 students at SD

Brawijaya Smart School Malang. This type of research is PTK (Classroom Action Research) with the research location at SD Brawijaya Smart School Malang with 27 students as subjects in class 1B. The results of the research in applying the Problem Based Learning learning model were an increase in teacher activity from cycle I with a score in cycle I of 76.56% and in cycle II increasing to 88%. The application of the Problem Based Learning learning model in student activities has increased with the score obtained in cycle I being 70% and in cycle II being 86.3%. Students become more active and can answer questions well by implementing the Problem Based Learning learning model. The increase in student learning outcomes, students who were initially less active became very active and enthusiastic in learning as evidenced by the increase in learning outcomes in cycle I obtaining a percentage score of 55.55% and in cycle II there was an increase with a percentage of 88%. The results of student responses after implementing the Problem Based Learning learning model were positive responses with a response percentage in cycle I of 42% and in cycle II of 47.6%, indicating that students were able to receive learning well after implementing the Problem Based Learning model.
