PENERAPAN METODE PROJECT BASED LEARNING (PJBL) PADA MATA PELAJARAN ILMU PENGETAHUAN ALAM DAN SOSIAL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VB MI NURUL ULUM ARJOSARI

Abstract


This research aims to improve students' learning outcomes through project-based learning, as well as to increase their interest and skills in science subjects, as well as develop critical reasoning and high creativity. In this research, two evaluation techniques were used: test and non-test. Test techniques, such as pretests and posttests, are used to measure students' cognitive abilities and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching plans. Meanwhile, non-test techniques, through interviews, observation and documentation, are used to evaluate students' skills and attitudes. The research results show that in the pre- cycle, only 12% of students achieved completeness, with an average score of 52, which is still below the target. However, in cycle II there was a significant increase, where 60% of students achieved completeness with an average score of 77. Observations also showed a significant increase in learning activities, from an average score of 82 in cycle I to 90 in cycle II, shows that the improvements made by the researchers had a positive impact. This research also used a questionnaire to measure the increase in learning motivation, with the average result of the variable reaching 76% in cycle II, which has achieved the set target. Overall, the project-based learning model has proven to be effective in improving learning outcomes and learning motivation for VB class students at MI Nurul Ulum Arjosari.
