STRATEGI GURU DALAM MEMBINA KESULITAN MEMBACA PESERTA DIDIK DI MI MIFTAHUL ULUM AMPELDENTO KARANGPLOSO MALANG

Abstract


This study aims to describe; 1) the variety of reading difficulties of students at MI Miftahul

Ulum Ampeldento, 2) factors of reading difficulties of students at MI Miftahul Ulum

Ampeldento, 3) teacher strategies in fostering students who have difficulty reading at MI Miftahul Ulum Ampeldento. The approach used is a qualitative approach with a case study research type. Data collection techniques use observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Data analysis uses data collection, condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data uses source triangulation, technical triangulation, peer discussion, and consultation with experts. The results of the study showed that; 1) the variety of learning difficulties of students include difficulty in recognizing the alphabet, spelling, reading quickly/fluently, and not being able to recognize patents. 2) the difficulty factors experienced by students are psychological factors, interest factors, intelligence factors, and family/environmental factors. 3) The strategies used by teachers to develop students are habituation, additional time, and giving assignments.
