IMPLEMENTASI NILAI RELIGIUS DALAM PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER PESERTA DIDIK MELALUI KEGIATAN KEAGAMAAN DI MADRASAH IBTIDAIYAH

Abstract

This research aims to examine the implementation of religious values in the developing student character through religion activities at MI Islamiyah Kebonsari, Malang City. This research uses a qualitative research approach with a case study type of research. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis uses data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Test its validity with longer observations, more in-depth interviews, and triangulation. The results of the research show that the implementation of religious values at MI Islamiyah Kebonsari Malang City is carried out through various religious activities, such as muroja'ah Al-Qur'an, learning Duha prayers, midday prayers in congregation, prayers before and after studying, amaliah ke-Nu- an (istighosah once a month), and activities to commemorate Islamic holidays. Apart from that, this activity also has a positive impact on the formation of student character. The implementation of religious values in forming student character includes: integration in self-development programs, integration in subjects, and integration through school culture. Apart from that, the results of its implementation include: good student morals towards teachers and older people, as well as increased faith and devotion to Allah.
