PENANAMAN KARAKTER CINTA TANAH AIR DI MI ISLAMIYAH KEBONSARI MALANG

Abstract

At present the sense of nationalism among the country's youth, especially students, is decreasing in the Indonesian nation, changes are occurring very quickly among children, and all of this is happening due to the influence of technological developments. This can be seen from the struggle of the students who lack a sense of nationalism because they emphasize their own ego more than the ideals of their nation. Therefore, elementary school children must have character from an early age. Therefore schools must awaken in students the nature of love for the motherland. The purpose of this study was to find out the core of love for the motherland at MI Islamiyah Kebonsari Malang through custom-based extracurricular activities. This study uses qualitative research methods in descriptive form. The subjects were students of MI Islamiyah Kebonsari Jabung Malang to get an overview of phenomena according to conditions or phenomena in the field by collecting information using the researchers themselves as a research tool. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. Data were analyzed by reduction, representation and derivation. This is evidenced by the results of field studies: The inculcation character of loving the motherland at MI Islamiyah Kebonsari Malang through custom-based activities is going well. This is due to the long adjustment period. The MI Islamiyah Kebonsari Malang induction program is carried out through extracurricular activities or activities that are integrated into daily learning.
