PENGEMBANGAN SOFT SKILL MELALUI MANAJEMEN EKSTRAKURIKULER DI MIN 1 KOTA MALANG

Abstract

Primary education is the first step become a major foundation in shaping character and personality traits that are reflected in a person, there are two skills in an integrated manner that includes hard skills and soft skills competence. Soft skill development at schools is needed to support non-academic achievements and the development of student talents and interests, in the form of extracurricular activities. In reality, not all students have the same opportunity to choose extracurricular activities, this is due to the regulations of each school limiting the number of students involved in extracurricular activities. This research used qualitative research, with a descriptive approach and data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation methods. The informants in this study were the principal, the student affairs coordinator, and the coordinator of extracurricular activities and competitions. The results of this study are that although the object of research, MIN 1 Malang, there have no written regulations due to COVID-19, it has implemented extracurricular management, namely POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling) where soft skill development activities at school are the development of akhlakul karimah ubudiyah and Islamic culture or commonly known as paku bumi and extracurricular activities to scoring achievements
