IMPLEMENTASI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DALAM PELAKSANAAN PEMBELAJARAN DARING DI MI ISLAMIYAH BANAT SENORI-TUBAN

Abstract

The world has been shocked by the covid 19 virus, the beginning of this virus was discovered on November 17, 2019 in the city of Wuhan, China. This virus has spread throughout the world and one of the affected countries is Indonesia, and has hampered all activities, one of which is the world of learning, the government has decided to do online learning because it is considered more efficient and effective for learning in the midst of a pandemic with how to organize learning that should be in class now is enough at home, students can send files using online applications. Character education is an effort to create a smart and good generation of the nation (smart and good citizenship) or have a noble character and a good personality. So that later students can have a very perfect character. This study uses qualitative research, this research approach is descriptive qualitative whose research is based on the philosophy of postpositivism, is used to examine the condition of natural objects, where the researcher is the key instrument, taking samples from small numbers to large ones. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of online learning during covid-19 at MI Islamiyah Banat Senori-Tuban was carried out using online applications which included whatsapp and google from to support and be successful in the midst of online learning, especially character education. Character are values that are very urgent to apply formal education, especially in basic education/Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, because the character planting that is done at an early age will make children have good values that are embedded in them, so that later values that have been planted can be used in the community.
