PERAN KEPALA MADRASAH DALAM MENINGKATKAN KEDISIPLINAN GURU DI MI BUSTANUL ULUM KOTA BATU PADA MASA PANDEMI COVID-19

Abstract


The world of education has a dynamic character, because education is a form of community service, while society has a character that is always changing, both in terms of attitudes, needs, assessments, and demands. This is why madrasas are always dynamic, relevant, professional and create healthy competition. Therefore we need a leader who is sensitive to the environment, open, tolerant of change and mental flexibility. Therefore, the researchers formulated the problem, namely 1) how is the concept of developing teacher discipline. 2) what are the implications of developing teacher discipline and 3) what is the role of the madrasa principal in The principal's efforts towards the concept of discipline development, whether prioritized or emphasized by the madrasah principal, are discipline in teacher learning planning (learning implementation plans), discipline in the implementation of teacher work and the results of teacher work evaluations on student learning discipline. In the implications of developing teacher discipline, student achievement in madrasas includes academic achievement and non-achievement. The achievements obtained by students cannot be separated from the role of the principal as a supervisor, evaluator, and educator.
