ANALISIS PELAYANAN DAN KONSEP WISATA HALAL PADA WILAYAH BANYUWANGI ( STUDY KASUS PULAU SANTEN )

Abstract


This study aims to examine the services and concepts in halal tourism on the island of Santen Banyuwang with sub-focuses including: (1) halal tourism services on the island of Santen Banyuwangi (2) the concept of halal tourism on the island of Santen Banyuwangi. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study design. Data collection was done by using interview, observation, and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques include data editing, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, checking the validity of the data is carried out by extending the participation of researchers, namely the Banyuwangi regional tourism office, POKDARWIS (Tourism Awareness Group) and several local residents and tourists. The results of this study are the services provided on the island of Santen have met the criteria for halal tourism while in the concept of tourism on the island of Santen it still does not meet the requirements as halal tourism.
