PENGARUH EMPATI DAN PENDIDIKAN KEWIRAUSAHAAN TERHADAP MINAT MAHASISWA UNTUK MENJADI WIRAUSAHA SOSIAL

Abstract


This study was conducted to determine the effect of empathy and entrepreneurship education on students' interest in becoming social entrepreneurs. Quantitative research is the type of study here. Participants in this study were enrolled Faculty of Economics and Business students, Department of Sharia Banking at the Islamic University of Malang who had taken the Introduction to Business course, as many as 100 respondents were obtained by researchers who had met the criteria. Using a purposive sampling strategy to obtain respondents, taking the number of samples using the non-probabilty sampling method. The analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS analysis tool. The results of the analysis show that 1) The results show that the empathy variable has no significant effect on students' interest in social entrepreneurship. 2) Students' interest in social entrepreneurship was positively and significantly influenced by the entrepreneurship education variable, according to the findings. 3) The results showed that the variables of empathy (X1) and entrepreneurship education (X2) together (simultaneously) had a significant effect on student interest in social entrepreneurship.
