PENGARUH PENGETAHUAN MASYARAKAT DAN KEMUDAHAN LAYANAN DIGITAL TERHADAP MINAT MEMBUKA REKENING DI PERBANKAN SYARIAH

Abstract


Islamic bank is a financial institution that provides savings and loan services to customers using a system that is in accordance with Islamic sharia. Some Islamic banking products in general are almost the same as conventional banking products such as deposits, bilyets, demand deposits, etc. In addition to sharia banking products, several contracts are used that distinguish them from conventional banking, for example wadiah (deposit) contracts, mudharabah (profit sharing) etc. Not many people know about this difference, because Islamic banking itself is still relatively new to financial institutions. In fact, as the times progress, the greater the technological changes that develop in Indonesia, especially in the financial sector. An example of technology that has been used in banking is the digital banking system. The data obtained states that the majority of the people of Sidomulyo Village as much as 75% still use accounts at conventional banks and as many as 25% have accounts in Islamic banking. This study has 3 problem formulations, namely how the influence of knowledge on public interest in Islamic banking, how the ease of digital services on the interest in opening an account in Islamic banking, and how the influence and convenience of digital services on opening an account in Islamic banking. This study uses a questionnaire method and quantitative type. The population in this study is the people of Sidomulyo Village. The results of this study indicate that the public has no effect on opening an account in Islamic banking and states that digital convenience has a significant effect on the interest in opening an account in Islamic Banking
