Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of perceived security, trust, and sharia compliance on customers’ interest in opening Hajj savings accounts at Bank Syariah Indonesia, both simultaneously and partially. The research used an associative quantitative design with primary data collected through an online Likert-scale questionnaire. The population consisted of customers and prospective customers of BSI Hajj savings, and 96 respondents were selected using purposive sampling from a population of 12,537. Data were processed using IBM SPSS through validity and reliability tests, the Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test, multicollinearity and Glejser heteroscedasticity tests, multiple linear regression, the F-test, the t-test, and the coefficient of determination. The results show that perceived security, trust, and sharia compliance simultaneously have a significant effect on customer interest, with an F-value of 137.811 and a significance level of 0.000. Partially, perceived security has a positive and significant effect with a coefficient of 0.442 and a significance level of 0.000; trust has a positive and significant effect with a coefficient of 0.233 and a significance level of 0.020; and sharia compliance has a positive and significant effect with a coefficient of 0.261 and a significance level of 0.005. The R-square value of 0.818 indicates that 81.8% of the variation in customer interest is explained by the three independent variables, while the remaining 18.2% is influenced by factors outside the model.

Keywords: Perceived security, trust, sharia compliance, customer interest, hajj savings
