ANALISIS PENGARUH ZAKAT PRODUKTIF, OMZET USAHA, KUALITAS SDM DAN JUMLAH TENAGA KERJA TERHADAP PERKEMBANGAN UMKM (Studi Kasus di BAZNAS Kabupaten Manggarai Timur)

Abstract


The development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) plays a crucial role in Indonesia's economy, particularly in improving community welfare and creating job opportunities. In East Manggarai Regency, MSMEs face various challenges, including limited access to capital and resources. Productive zakat, as a form of Islamic financial instrument, is expected to provide support to MSME actors in developing their businesses. Besides productive zakat, other factors such as business turnover, the quality of human resources (HR), and the number of workers are also considered influential in MSME development. Therefore, it is essential to conduct research to explore the impact of these variables on MSME development in this region, in order to provide useful recommendations for zakat management and local economic policy development. This study aims to analyze the effect of productive zakat and other factors such as business turnover, HR quality, and the number of workers on MSME development in East Manggarai Regency. The method used in this study is quantitative, employing purposive sampling technique. Data is collected through questionnaires distributed to MSME actors who receive assistance from BAZNAS. Primary data is obtained from respondents whare MSME actors meeting specific criteria, and data analysis is performed using multiple linear regression analysis. The research findings indicate that, simultaneously, all independent variables have a positive and significant effect on MSME development. However, product zakat does not show a significant effect individually, whereas business turnover, HR quality, and the number of workers have a positive and significant effect on MSME development. These findings provide important insights for zakat management and MSME development in East Manggarai Regency.
