This study aims to analyze the influence of the industrial environment consisting of: competitors, suppliers, and customers towards the success of Small and Medium Industries (SMI) in the Basic Material and Metals Industry (BMMI) group in Malang City. The population of BMMI group SMI entrepreneurs in Malang City is 113 entrepreneurs, then 88 randomly sampled entrepreneurs. Analysis of the data using multiple linear regression. The results show that: 1) simultaneously variables: competitors, suppliers, and customers influence the success of the BMMI group SMI business in Malang City, 2) partially variable: competitors, suppliers, and customers influence the success of the BMMI group SMI business in Malang City, and 3) Customer variables have a dominant influence on the success of the BMMI group SMI business in Malang City.
