PENGARUH ECU STANDAR DAN ECU RACING TERHADAP PERFORMA MOTOR BENSIN YAMAHA VIXION 150 CC

Abstract


Technological advances in the automotive sector in Indonesia are very rapid, in line with the increasing number of human needs. Especially motorbikes which are increasing in numberData from the Indonesian Motorcycle Industry Association (AISI) throughout 2019 recorded 1,100,950 motorcycles in IndonesiaWith this achievement, it means that the domestic market for two-wheeled vehicles in Indonesia has grown by around 19.4 percent when compared to the same period in 2018. Two-wheeled domestic sales only reached 922,123 units. The purpose of this study was to find out and compare the results of performance testing after replacing the standard ECU with a racing ECU on a Yamaha Vixion 150 CC gasoline motorbike. The results showed that the power and torque of each test based on RPM 6000, 7000, 8000 can be seen that the differences from different types of ECU do not have too great an effect on the performance of the resulting 150 cc Yamaha Vixion petrol motorbike. This is because the engine used on the Vixion 150 cc petrol motorbike is still standard. While the results of testing fuel consumption at Rpm 6000, 7000, 8000 the use of racing ECU fuel is more than the standard ECU. This is because in the racing ECU, the discharge of gasoline that is sprayed is set more than the standard setting. The higher the engine speed, the greater the need for fuel for the combustion process.
