Abstract
Motor engine performance can be improved by porting and polishing the cylinder head. The greater the amount of air and fuel present, the easier it is for combustion to occur. This study tries to modify the effect of porting on port intake and exhaust port performance. GL 100 motorbike. This research is a true experimental study with an analysis of variance model. The tool used in this study is a dynamometer with engine speed variants of 1500, 3000, and 4500 rpm. The fuel used in this research is Pertamax. The results showed that at the same speed (4500 rpm), a standard motor produced 11 HP of power, while a modified ported motor had a greater power of 13.4 HP. At 4500 rpm, 6 ml of fuel runs out in 51.37 s, while the motor with modified port fuel runs out in a shorter time, namely 49.75 s.
