PENGARUH PRODUKSI UAP AIR HASIL DARI PEMANFAATAN PANAS BUANG PADA EXHAUST TERHADAP PERFORMA HONDA BEAT 110CC

Abstract


Based on testing and data analysis on the effect of adding water vapor to engine performance and exhaust emissions on the Honda Beat 110cc. The results of this study can be concluded that at RPM 3000 to 8400, with the addition of water vapor into the intake manifold will increase the performance of the Honda Beat 110 cc, which includes torque, power and fuel consumption is more efficient and it is better to use a mixture of water vapor. because the hydrogen content contained in the water vapor can bind the hydrocarbon and carbon monoxide content so that a chemical reaction occurs in the combustion chamber. As well as hydrocarbons (HC) and oxygen (O2), they will carry out chemical reactions to form carbon dioxide (CO2) and water vapor (H2O) which reduce exhaust emission levels when the two compounds react in the combustion chamber
