ANALISIS KECURANGAN AKADEMIK MELALUI PERILAKU MENYONTEK (CHEATING) PADA MAHASISWA AKUNTANSI UNIVERSITAS ISLAM MALANG

Abstract


ABSTRACT

 

            The purpose of this study was to study gender variables, academic achievement, prevention, alienation, neutralization, motivation, and motivation related to cheating interactions on students. The population used is all 6th and 8th semester active students of the Faculty of Economics & Business, majoring in Accounting, Islamic University of Malang. The research technique used purposive sampling and testing data using validity test, reliability test, normality test, multiple linear regression, classic assumption test, hypothesis test and SPSS assistance. The results of the analysis show that the variables of Gender, Academic Achievement, Antidote, Alienation, Neutralization, Motivation, and Amotation simultaneously have a significant effect on the use of cheating. And Gender, Academic, Antidote, Neutralization and Motivation variables did not significantly influence cheating behavior. While Alienation and Motivation have a significant effect on cheating behavior. Alhadza (2004) explains that students do not commit academic fraud, students must be able to motivate themselves and increase self-confidence. Lecturers are also required to always be objective in providing value, rational thinking, can also show exemplary. Institutions must also make appropriate assessment systems that are beneficial for all parties. If no party is harmed, then fraud will not occur.
