Dukungan Pemerintah Memoderasi Pengaruh Pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi dan Literasi Keuangan terhadap Kinerja UMKM Kota Batu

Abstract


This research was conducted to examine the effect of information technology utilization and financial literacy on the performance of MSMEs, as well as the role of government support as a moderating variable. The study employed a quantitative approach with a causality research design. The data collected were primary data obtained through online and offline questionnaires distributed to MSME operators in Batu City. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, with a sample size of 150 respondents. Subsequently, the data will be analyzed using the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method with the assistance of SmartPLS software. The results indicate that the use of information technology and financial literacy have a positive and significant impact on the performance of MSMEs in Batu City. Additionally, government support was found to strengthen the effect of information technology use on MSME performance but weaken the effect of financial literacy on MSME performance. Therefore, MSME operators are encouraged to continue optimizing the use of information technology and improving their financial literacy in business management. The Batu City government needs to develop more effective and sustainable mentoring and training programs to support improvements in MSME performance. Future research is recommended to expand the geographical scope, increase the number of respondents, and consider other variables that may potentially influence MSME performance.
