Analisis Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Minat Mahasiswa Akuntansi Berwirausaha

Abstract


This study aims to examine the influence of risk tolerance, entrepreneurial motivation, and internal environment on the entrepreneurial interest of Accounting students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Islam Malang. A quantitative approach was employed using purposive sampling. The sample consisted of 108 students from the 2022 cohort, and data were collected through questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS, including validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, coefficient of determination, t-test, and F-test. The results revealed that, partially, risk tolerance had a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial interest (Sig. 0.004), entrepreneurial motivation had a positive and significant effect (Sig. 0.000), and the internal environment also had a positive and significant effect (Sig. 0.033). Simultaneously, the three independent variables had a positive and significant effect on students' entrepreneurial interest (Sig. 0.000). The adjusted coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square) of 0.518 indicates that 51.8% of the variation in entrepreneurial interest is explained by risk tolerance, entrepreneurial motivation, and the internal environment, while the remaining 48.2% is influenced by other factors outside this study. These findings are expected to provide recommendations for universities in fostering entrepreneurial interest through strengthening entrepreneurial motivation, risk-taking ability, and a supportive internal environment.
