Perilaku Pengelolaan Keuangan Mahasiswa di Era Digital: Peran Financial literacy dan Digital payment experience

Abstract


The rapid development of financial technology and the widespread use of digital payment services have significantly influenced students’ financial management behavior. This study aims to examine the effect of financial literacy and digital payment experience on students’ financial management behavior. This research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The sample consisted of 86 students from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Islam Malang, selected usi ng purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results indicate that financial literacy and digital payment experience have a positive and significant effect on students’ financial management behavior. These findings imply that higher financial knowledge and greater experience in using digital payment services encourage students to manage their finances more wisely and responsibly.
