Pengaruh Good Corporate Governance terhadap Kinerja Karyawan dengan Budaya Organisasi sebagai Variabel Moderasi (Studi Kasus pada PT. Pegadaian Cabang Malang)

Abstract


This study aims to examine the effect of Good Corporate Governance on employee performance with organizational culture as a moderating variable. The limited implementation of organizational culture has become an important issue in strengthening the application of Good Corporate Governance and improving employee performance within organizations. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. The data were collected from 58 employees of PT. Pegadaian Malang Branch using a saturated sampling technique. The findings indicate that Good Corporate Governance does not have a significant effect on employee performance. Meanwhile, organizational culture has a significant effect on employee performance. Furthermore, organizational culture is not able to moderate the relationship between Good Corporate Governance and employee performance. These findings provide support for the Agency Theory, although the statistical results do not indicate a significant relationship between Good Corporate Governance and employee performance.
