Entrepreneurial Role Model sebagai Variabel Moderasi dalam Hubungan Karakteristik Kewirausahaan dan Intensi Kewirausahaan Mahasiswa FEB Malang Raya

Abstract


This study examines the influence of entrepreneurial characteristics on entrepreneurial intention with the entrepreneurial role model as a moderating variable. The low level of students’ interest in entrepreneurship has become a crucial issue in the development of national entrepreneurship. A quantitative approach was employed through a survey of 110 students from the Faculty of Economics and Business in the Greater Malang area, selected using purposive sampling. The results show that entrepreneurial characteristics and entrepreneurial role models have a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial intention. Furthermore, the entrepreneurial role model significantly strengthens the relationship between entrepreneurial characteristics and entrepreneurial intention. These findings support the Theory of Planned Behavior and Social Cognitive Theory, and provide practical implications for universities to develop entrepreneurship programs based on character development and role modeling.
