Abstract


ABSTRACT

This study aims to examine the factors that distinguish career selection as a Public Accountant by Accounting Students with the independent variables used: Salary, Professional Recognition, Social Values, Work Environment, Work Market Balances, and Personality. Career selection as the dependent variable. The number of respondents in study were 180 students of the Faculty of Economics Accounting Islamic University of Malang. With data analysis techniques used are: Validity Test, Reliability Test, Logistic Regression Analysis and Determination Coefficient Test. Research results show that Salary, Professional Recognition, Social Values, Work Environment, Labour Market Balances, and Personality have a positive effect on the selection of careers for Public Accountants by Accounting Students of Malang Islamic University.
