ANALISIS DETERMINAN LEVERAGE PERUSAHAAAN : STUDI PADA PERUSAHAAN MANUFAKTUR YANG TERDAFTAR DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA
Abstract
ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of Liquidity, Growth Opportunity, Profitability, and Company Size on Leverage. The population in this study is a Manufacturing Company Registered on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2015-2017. The sampling technique in the study used purposive sampling and obtained 116 sample companies that were used as criteria for Manufacturing Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2015-2017. The data source of this study came from Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), www.idx.co.id. The analytical method used in this study is the classic assumption test, hypothesis testing and multiple linear regression.
The results of this study indicate (1) Based on the simultaneous test or F test it is known that the Liquidity variable, the opportunity for growth. Profitability and company size jointly influence Leverage (2) Leverage explained at 48.8% by variable Liquidity, Opportunity for Growth, Profitability and Company Size. While the remaining 51.2% is explained by other variables (3) Partially, Liquidity Variables, Profitability has a significant negative effect on Leverage while Variable Opportunity Growth, Firm Size has a significant positive effect on Leverage variables.
