Abstract


This study aims to examine the factors that differentiate career choices as a public accountant by accounting students with the independent variables used, namely Salary, Professional Recognition, Social Values, Work Environment, Work Market Balance, Personality and Professional Training Career selection as the dependent variable. The number of respondents in this study were 122 Accounting Students, Faculty of Economic University of Islamic Malang. The data analysis techniques used are: Validity Test, Reliability Test, Logistic Regression Analysis and Determination Coefficient Test. The results showed that Salary, Professional Recognition, Social Values, Work Environment, Work Market Balance, Personality and Professional Training have a positive effect on the career choice of Public Accountants by Accounting Students of Islamic University of Malang
