PENANGGUHAN RUSIA DALAM KEANGGOTAAN UNITED NATION HUMAN RIGHTS COUNCIL (UNHRC)

Abstract


ABSTRACT

The state is an organization of sovereign power with a government system that enforces order in certain areas. Recently there was an armed conflict between Russia and Ukraine. The conflict started due to Ukraine's desire to join NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) which was opposed by Russia. Russia says that voting by UN member states is illegal and politically motivated. What is the position of the United Human Rights Council (UNHRC) in the United Nations (UN) statutes? How is Russia's Suspension of Membership in the United Human Rights Council (UNHRC)? Normative Research. The UNHRC was created by the general assembly by resolution 60/251 replacing the Human Rights commission. Russia was suspended from the UNHRC after its actions carried out an attack on Ukraine as a result of the decision Russia decided to leave the UNHRC.

ABSTRAK

Negara adalah organisasi kekuasaan yang berdaulat dengan sistem pemerintahan yang menegakkan ketertiban di wilayah tertentu, Baru-baru ini terjadi konflik bersenjata antara Rusia dan Ukraina, Konflik berawal dikarenakan keinginan Ukraina bergabung dengan (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) NATO yang ditentang oleh Rusia. Rusia mengatakan bahwa pemungutan suara oleh negara-negara anggota PBB adalah illegal dan bermotivasi politik. Bagaimana kedudukan United Human Rights Council (UNHRC) dalam statute Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa (PBB)? Bagaimana Putusan Penangguhan Rusia dalam Keanggotaan United Human Rights Council (UNHRC)?. Penelitian  Normatif. UNHRC dibentuk oleh majelis umum dengan resolusi 60/251 menggantikan komisi Hak Asasi Manusia. Rusia ditangguhkan dari UNHRC setelah aksinya melakukan serangan terhadap Ukraina akibat dari putusan tersebut Rusia memutuskan keluar dari UNHRC.
