STUDI PERENCANAAN TEKNOLOGI CONSTRUCTED WETLAND DALAM PENGOLAHAN GREYWATER
Abstract
Most places in Indonesia, especially in the Malang City, throw away waste from washing, bathing, and cooking straight into rivers and other water sources without treating it first. In the long run, this cause can lead to bad smells and result in many different illnesses. Before wastewater is released into water bodies or used again for irrigation, it must be gathered and cleaned. Constructed Wetlands are a wastewater treatment technology. Constructed wetlands can remove up to 97% of total turbidity and suspended solids, have no bad smell, and can look like attractive gardens.
