Abstract


ABSTRAK

Population growth in Ringinsari Village has led to a continuous rise in clean water demand,
necessitating an evaluation and planning for the expansion of the distribution system. This study
aims to project the population, calculate clean water demand up to the year 2035, and evaluate
the distribution network using EPANET 2.2. The methodology involves population projection
using arithmetic, geometric, and linear regression methods, with the best method selected based
on the level of fit. The results indicate that the population is projected to reach 5,862 by 2035.
Clean water demand is expected to rise from 8.825 L/s in 2026 to 9.768 L/s in 2035. Simulation
results demonstrate that the distribution network remains viable for expansion through the
addition of network components, enabling it to meet clean water demands through the planning
horizon.
