STUDI ALTERNATIF PERANCANGAN PARKIR SEPEDA MOTOR MAHASISWA UNIVERSITAS ISLAM MALANG MENGGUNAKAN APLIKASI SKETCHUP
Abstract
The provision of parking spaces on campus is very important for maintaining smooth access and order. The growing number of Unisma students using private vehicles is not supported by sufficient parking facilities, which leads to the emergence of illegal parking areas around the campus. This study aims to identify the required parking capacity, develop a design concept, and prepare a motorcycle parking plan at UNISMA. This includes designing motorcycle parking for UNISMA students and creating a motorcycle parking design. The research method applied in this study refers to the Pedoman Perencanaan dan Pengoperasian Fasilitas Parkir issued by the Directorate General of Land Transportation (1998), while the design planning was carried out using the SketchUp application. The analysis of UNISMA's parking area shows a total of 3,934.225 m² for motorcycle parking, with an area of 2,678.4 m², resulting in a capacity of 1,913 SRP. The total number of vehicles (A) is 2,030, with the highest volume (V) of vehicles on Tuesday reaching 3,368 vehicles. The parking space requirement at UNISMA is 2,232.9 SRP, so the current SRP does not meet the parking space requirement. Therefore, in this design, a multi-level parking concept will be implemented. The total additional land area is 839.04 m², consisting of a parking area of 480.8 m² and a parking lane area of 358.24 m². The plan is to construct a three-story parking building with dimensions of 27.6 m in length and 15.2 m in width. Keyword : Parking Space, Parking Capacity, Parking Space Planning, SketchUp
