Abstract

ABSTRACT 

Clean water is a basic need that plays a very important role in supporting human life. Its use is not only limited to household activities, but is also closely related to social services, economic activities, and basic community needs that continue to increase along with population growth. This study aims to analyze the need for clean water and the water distribution system in the Safira Regency Sampang II Housing Complex, Torjun District, Sampang Regency. The research method uses hydraulic modeling with EPANET 2.2 software to simulate the performance of the piping network in distributing water evenly. The results of the analysis show a population of 887 people with an average daily water discharge requirement of 1.89 liters per second, a maximum daily requirement of 2.00 liters per second, and a peak hour discharge of 2,716 liters per second. The distribution system is designed through pumping from a drilled well to a reservoir, then distributed to residents' homes using a gravity system with 50 mm diameter PVC pipes.
