Abstract


ABSTRAK

 

Pertumbuhan penduduk yang pesat dan peningkatan kepemilikan kendaraan telah memperparah kemacetan lalu lintas di banyak kota di Indonesia, termasuk Pontianak. Salah satu titik kemacetan kritis adalah persimpangan berlampu lalu lintas di Jalan Sultan Hamid, Jalan Tanjung Raya I, Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan, dan Jalan Tanjung Raya II. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dan mengoptimalkan kinerja persimpangan berlampu lalu lintas tersebut menggunakan Pedoman Kapasitas Jalan Raya Indonesia (PKJI 2023). Data lalu lintas dikumpulkan melalui survei lapangan, termasuk volume lalu lintas, kondisi geometris, dan pengaturan waktu sinyal. Kinerja persimpangan dianalisis berdasarkan parameter PKJI 2023 seperti derajat saturasi, keterlambatan, panjang antrian, dan tingkat pelayanan. Model simulasi lalu lintas mikroskopis dikembangkan menggunakan PTV Vissim untuk merepresentasikan kondisi lalu lintas yang ada. Skenario optimasi diterapkan dengan menyesuaikan pengaturan waktu sinyal sesuai dengan PKJI 2023 dan disimulasikan untuk menilai peningkatan kinerja. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa optimasi yang diusulkan mengurangi keterlambatan dan panjang antrian sekaligus meningkatkan tingkat pelayanan secara keseluruhan di persimpangan tersebut.

 

ABSTRACT

 

Rapid population growth and increasing vehicle ownership have intensified traffic congestion in many Indonesian cities, including Pontianak. One critical congestion point is the signalized intersection of Sultan Hamid Street, Tanjung Raya I Street, Perintis Kemerdekaan Street, and Tanjung Raya II Street. This study aims to evaluate and optimize the performance of the signalized intersection using the Indonesian Highway Capacity Guidelines (PKJI 2023). Traffic data were collected through field surveys, including traffic volume, geometric conditions, and signal timing. Intersection performance was analyzed based on PKJI 2023 parameters such as degree of saturation, delay, queue length, and level of service. A microscopic traffic simulation model was developed using PTV Vissim to represent existing traffic conditions. Optimization scenarios were applied by adjusting signal timing in accordance with PKJI 2023 and simulated to assess performance improvements. The results indicate that the proposed optimization reduces delay and queue length while improving the overall level of service at the intersection.
