STUDI EVALUASI SISTEM SALURAN DRAINASE PADA RUAS JALAN BANDULAN KECAMATAN SUKUN KOTA MALANG
Abstract
In Bandulan Village, Sukun District, Malang City, the quick growth of industry and houses has decreased the area that collects rainwater and resulted in water puddles. Furthermore, the current drainage channels are not operating at their best because of the buildup of trash in them. As a result, during the rainy season, the drainage network in Bandulan Village, Sukun District, Malang City, frequently overflows with water, necessitating monitoring of its performance. This demonstrates that nearly none of the drainage routes can remove water in accordance with the intended discharge. The channel's cross-section narrows as a result of a number of factors, chief among them being shallowing brought on by sediment deposits at the channel's bottom. The lack of a guardrail and the abundance of trash strewn down the riverbed make the situation in the Bandulan region increasingly concerning. Therefore, upgrades and additions to a sound drainage system must be balanced with urban expansion.
