STUDI PERENCANAAN DISTRIBUSI AIR BERSIH DESA KENYALA KECAMATAN TELAWANG KABUPATEN KOTAWARINGIN TIMUR MENGGUNAKAN APLIKASI EPANET V2.2
Abstract
ABSTRACT
Clear water is important for humans, yet its availability remains limited in rural areas. Kenyala Village, located in Telawang District, East Kotawaringin Regency, faces challenges in clean water distribution despite having a groundwater well with a discharge of 33.6 liters/second. This study aims to design an optimal water distribution system using EPANET 2.2 software. The analysis includes population projection until 2034, water demand, water availability, and pipeline network planning. The results perform that the projected population in 2034 will reach 6,804 people with a water demand of 13.16 liters/second, where to get still be supplied around the existing well. The distribution system is planned using HDPE PN 8 pipe in a diameter of 285 mm with a pump ability of Q=15 l/s and H=80 m. The distribution system uses HDPE PN 8 pipes 99.4 mm with the pipe length of 12,378 m. EPANET simulations perform that pressure and velocity demands of Minister of Public Works No. 18/PRT/M/2012. This research aims to be a reference with clean water distribution planning in rural areas.
