Studi Perencanaan Geometrik Dan Perkerasan Lentur Jalan Jalur Lintas Selatan Lot 9 (STA 0+000 - STA 10+000) Kabupaten Malang

Abstract


The construction of the southern causeway was initiated due to the lack of sufficient road infrastructure in the southern region’s economy. Therefore, the main factor of road transportation must be improved immediately. The study area of road geometric planning is on the southern cross line lot 9 Balekambang-Kedungsalam Malang Regency East Java Province. Bearing capacity is assessed through field CBR testing obtained from the PPK 1.3 office of East Java Province. Balekambang-Sendang Biru South Cross Road with a plan life of 20 years. The subgrade bearing capacity is assessed through field CBR testing and data provided by the PPK 1.3 office of East Java Province, showing a CBR value of 44%. The horizontal alignment consists of 53 curves, designed for plan speeds of Vr 50 km/h and Vr 60 km/h, with a total road width of 7.5 meters (two lanes, two directions, each lane measuring 3.75 meters). The vertical alignment design of the South Cross Lane Road Lot 9 in Malang District (STA 0+000–10+000) consists of 40 curves, comprising 18 convex and 22 concave curves. In accordance with the Bina Marga 2017 component analysis method, the planned flexible pavement structure includes an AC-WC wearing course possessing a nominal depth of 40 mm, an AC-BC upper base layer of 60 mm, a Cement Treated Base (CTB) layer of 80 mm, and a Class A aggregate base layer with a thickness of 300 mm.
