Abstract


ABSTRACT

The intersection of J Jalan Ki Ageng Gribig, is one of the key intersections in the area, often experiencing delays and side obstacles due to surrounding activities. Intersection performance plays a crucial role in determining the most appropriate measures to optimize its function. The parameters used to evaluate the performance of an unsignalized intersection include capacity, degree of saturation, delay, and queueing probability. This study was conducted over a period of two weeks, with data collection taking place from 06:00 to 18:00 at three-hour intervals in the morning (06:00–09:00), midday (11:00–14:00), and afternoon (15:00–18:00). The calculations were performed using the Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI 2023) and PTV Vissim software. The analysis results indicate a degree of saturation (DJ) of 1.25 sec/hour, a Level of Service (LOS) of F, and a delay (T) of 55,41 sec/pcu. To address the issues at this unsignalized intersection, it is recommended to install additional traffic signs and implement traffic signals (APILL) to improve traffic flow and safety.
